Kahoot! visits our school

Today Kahoot! visited our school! Kahoot! is a free game-based learning platform that makes it fun to learn – any subject, in any language, on any device, for all ages! We created a fun learning game in minutes (what is called ‘kahoots‘), made from a series of multiple choice questions. Each question can have four or less answers, one of them is right. You can also display pictures or movies while each question is asked. A simple and clean system keeps track of where you are on the scoreboard and how many points you have in total. You can get 1000 points per question, depending on how quickly you answered. All in all the person that answers correct the fastes will be rewarded with the highest score. kahoot Playing

Kahoot! visited our school today and everyone had a really great time. We all made Kahoot’s about Ernest Hemingway, and each quiz was a little different. Six people from the Kahoot! company (including the cameraman) were visitng us. We learned a lot both from creating a quiz within our groups, and playing the Kahoot’s that our classmates had made. One of the most fun aspects of Kahoot! is that you can choose any nickname you want. This makes for quite the fun experience as people come up with creative and funny names.

I think that Kahoot! is a great and fun way to learn. In some subjects I think that having a Kahoot! can ensure that students are motivated and learn all they need. Kahoot! fits for students of all ages. School is easier when it’s fun. I really like Kahoot! and think that we should use it in every subject, atleast once a day.
